1、请介绍下学校的基本情况（如创办时间/目前的招收年级/开设课程情况）

1。 Please introduce your school（When was the school established？/What grade of students does the school enroll？/What kind of curriculum be provided in the school？）
Grace International School is a full-time international private school with preschool，primary school， middle school and high school.With the belief of “investigate things to gain knowledge， explore inner-self to make progress”， and the motto of “Chinese body， western usage”， we aim to cultivate citizens of the world with Chinese culture background。 Grace International School courses adopt required national curriculum standard as the main body and introduce the high quality courses of American Grace Academy to open our students’ international vision and improve their comprehensive qualities。 Currently， Grace International School has built many international high schools and international education centers in China， including Beijing， Tianjin， Panjin， ect。 Meanwhile， Grace International School has built a strong relationship and partnership with more than 100 American colleges and universities， and established overseas education centers in Seattle， New York， Los Angeles， San Francisco， ect， to provide services for students who study abroad。
2、请介绍下学校的课程特色，学生如何有针对性的选择适合自己的国际课程？
格瑞斯国际学校采取小班制的教学模式，依托于混合式教学和导师制等独特的教学手段建立了GPA加ECA的课程体系，实现教书育人的教育目的。学校开设英语类、数学类、自然科学类、社会科学类、中国文化类、艺术类、体育类等六大类课程。同时，学生在学校中能够体验丰富多彩的课外生活，并且有机会自主策划和执行学校举办的大型活动。一个健全的学生在成长中必须有着丰富经历，并走出校园，体验不同的价值观。以这种方式帮助学生形成积极健康的劳动、财富观、信用观、挫折观、审美观、生命观、最终成长为健全人格的国际化人才。
在选择国际学校时，我建议您首先要先了解国际课程。国际课程也有难易之分，要看你孩子的学习基础来选择适合他学习的国际课程，这样才能让孩子能听得懂、学得会、跟得上。目前85%出国留学的学生家长都会选择去美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚四大英语为母语的大国，全国近400多所国际学校当中，主要开设的国际课程有Alevel课程、AP课程、IB课程、美国高中课程、加拿大高中课程及澳大利亚高中课程。可以根据孩子将来出国的留学方向来选择国际学校，找到真正适合自己孩子的学校，是走向成功的第一步。
2。 Please introduce characteristic courses of the school， and how the students choose an international curriculum which is most suitable to himself/herself？
Grace International follow the teaching mode of small class system。 The education system is GPA+ECA which is established on the basic of blended teaching and tutorial system to achieve the purpose of teaching and educating people。 The School offers six major courses： English courses， Mathematics courses， Social science courses， Chinese culture courses， Art courses， Sports courses。
Meanwhile， students can experience various of extracurricular activities and gain many opportunities of planning and organizing the big events held by school。 A real outstanding student must have a healthy personality and have various of experiences。 So we aim to help students cultivate a positive conception of Labor， Wealth， Credit， Frustration， Aesthetic， and Life。
I’d like to suggest all the parents to learn about the international curriculum when choose an international school。 There are different levels of international course， so choosing a suited course will help your child adapt to the school as soon as possible。 Currently， 85% of the overseas students studied abroad in and English-speaking country like American， Britain， Canada， and Australia。 At present， nearly 400 international schools throughout the country provide the following international courses： A-level， AP， IB， American high school curriculum， Canada high school curriculum， and Australia high school curriculum。 So parents can choose an international school according to which country do you want to sent your child go to study。
3。 要进入国际学校对家长和孩子有什么要求？例如考试和面试方面需要做哪些准备？
对于想要入读国际学校的孩子我提出以下三点建议：首先，我们希望你可以有乐观的态度和努力的精神，能够尽快融入到新的学习环境中，以积极乐观的心态去迎接每一天的到来。努力完成每一门课程，每一次活动。其次，希望你可以有良好的英文基础，进入国际学校将面对全英文环境的挑战，因此，坚实的语言基础会帮助你顺利过渡。最后，希望你学会包容和理解，国际学校会提供住宿，学生通常来自天南地北，由于文化背景和成长环境的不同，在同学间会有文化差异和生活方式上的不同，要提前有个心理准备，遇到无法理解和不习惯的事情要学会包容和沟通。
同样，对于家长我也有三点建议：第一，希望您能详细了解国际课程特点，和孩子一起做好未来的规划。第二，认同国际学校的管理文化。最后也是最重要的一点，充分相信学校和孩子，每年新生从公办学校进入国际学校的过程中，新生家长总是最焦虑的，担心孩子是否能适应全英文环境，学习是否能够跟得上，和同学相处如何，吃饭住宿是否习惯等等，通常来说，绝大部分孩子在开学后的三个月内都能迅速的适应全英文环境，在这期间，家长需要给孩子更多的鼓励和信心。同时，格瑞思国际学校提供一流的综合教育，帮助学生最大限度的开发潜能，从格瑞斯毕业的学生，都能够成长为成熟、富有探索精神与领导力的公民。
不同的学校入学要求也各不相同，格瑞思的入学形式一般分为笔试和面试两部分。笔试方面由于入学测试的考题是专门的教师团队负责研发并每年调整，所以成功通过考试的唯一方式是增强英文阅读和写作能力。面试则主要考察语言表达能力。另外国际学校一般都比较注重学生的兴趣爱好和其他特色技能，所以这些也会给考生加分。
3.What are the requirements for parents and students who want to study in an international school？ Like what should they prepare for the entrance test and interview？
I’d like to come up with three advice for the students who are going to study in an international school。 First of all， I hope you are optimistic and hardworking so that you can adapt to new environment quickly。 Secondly， I hope you can have a good English ability that will help you overcome the challenge of an English-language teaching environment more easier。 Last but not least， you should learn how to be tolerant and considerate。 Because international schools are boarding school， students come from various places with different background。 So you need to be tolerant when some conflict happens。
Meanwhile， I also have three advice for the parents。 At first， you need to learn the features of international curriculum then make a good plan for your child’s future。 What’s more， you should identify with the management culture of international schools。 The last and most important point is fully believing in schools and children。 When students transfer from a public school to a international school their parents always feel very anxious。 But most students can adapt to the new environment within three months。 So during this period， I suggest parents give more confidence to their children。 And Grace International School provide a first class rounded education which helps all students to achieve their full potential。 All students graduated from Grace will grow into citizens who is mature， full of exploration spirit and leadership。
Different schools have different admission requirements。 For Grace International School，there are two parts of recruitment procedures which including a written examination and an interview。 There’s a professional teacher team research and adjust the written entrance examination every year， so the best way to prepare for it is improving English reading comprehensive and writing skills。 And for the interview， we focus on the language competence of students。 Additionally， International schools always pay more attention on students’ hobbies and expertise。 So if your child has this kind of skill that will be helpful for applying an international school。
