Although the CW drama arguably peaked in Season 3 thanks to the addicting charisma and complicated family dynamics of the Mikaelson family -- characters who were so great， they rightfully got their own spin-off， The Originals -- The Vampire Diaries‘ final season is quickly making the case that it’s one of the show‘s best。
尽管CW由于醉心于吸血鬼始祖家庭错综复杂的关系导致缩减了三季的内容，而演员们也表现十分不错，然后制作了衍生剧《初代吸血鬼》，但是《吸血鬼日记》最后一季迅速就表明本季是本剧最好的一季之一。
